R. George (Bob) Clark began his professional law enforcement career in upstate New York, serving with the New York State Police for 20 years, where he received a presidential commendation for actions taken during a shootout with a deranged perpetrator. After leaving the State Police, he ran his own private detective agency in the Adirondack region for another 10 years before enlisting with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection service.
Bob, a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh spent many years as an adjunct instructor in the Criminal Justice program at Clinton Community College. Additionally, he and his wife shared over twenty years in the floral business. His past career and life time experiences in the scenic area of the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain have provided a rich background from which to fabricate his tales of Marc LaRose. He retired to Aiken, South Carolina where he spends much of his time writing. The author is an active member of the Aiken chapter of the South Carolina Writers Association. |
